While the top two remain consistent with the general APR, the rest of the list out here looks pretty different. Junketsu no Maria continues to remain strong, and the Idolmaster creeps back into the top 5. As usual, we don’t really agree on any of the shows.

Parasyte did manage to improve slightly from last week with an episode that at least attempted to take the story somewhere, but nowhere near enough to return it to the heights it was accustomed to last season.

Nothing really stood out this week, which explains why a mediocre show from last season, Akatsuki no Yona, actually managed to get a look in for the first time. Shigatsu remains as erratic as ever. I’m kind of looking forward to another episode more focussed on the piano playing coming up this week. Those are generally pretty good.

Koufuku Graffiti had an episode that just wasn’t what I personally want from the show. The whole SHAFT effect already was a minus in my book (and a plus for many many others I would assume), and similarly I get the feeling this week would be aimed at that audience. A cute girls slice of life show for people who can’t stand the cute, fuzzy and awesome standard slice of life.

I should have some nice colourful graphs for you next week, mostly just to show off Shirobako relaxing all the way at the top while every other show fights for the scraps. Stay tuned.
