Selector Spread WIXOSS: based on the award winning novel of the anime of the children’s card game, apparently.
As a rule, you shouldn’t trust anybody in WIXOSS that smiles.
I’m not sure which is worse…
They’ve literally done one move each.
Appropriately, this LRIG has the dumbest looking forms in this show.
Noob stomping is a hobby of acquired taste.
Get out of my card games in despair show and go watch some Naruto or something.
Ulith came in a car? That driver must be so confused.
Yet again, Madoka did it first.
WIXOSS is going full meta.
So you’re telling me WIXOSS is basically Sword Art Online.
One would argue no Eternal Girl is normal at all.
Hmm, Grandma is using Hitoe’s old LRIG.
How much do you want to bet this innocuous line is actually foreshadowing?
They finally noticed all the contrived coincidences in this story!?
She should go watch Rozen Maiden.
Week 4 Verdict:
WIXOSS is going in a radically different direction than I expected, with its meta-novel sub plot. Those can be interesting if done well (Which Okada Mari is fully capable of), and it goes some ways to address one of my primary concerns about the show, which is how much it relies on contrived coincidences to keep recycling all the characters and LRIGs.
We will continue next week in like, twelve hours because this writer is an unpunctual prick.
